Smart Commercial Vehicles Middle East Conference

Date: 2 - 3 May 2018
Venue: Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre

Smart, connected, sustainable and intelligent commercial vehicles have garnered great interest world-wide. Electrification, autonomy, connectivity, and sharing have been outlined as the four trends that are rapidly changing the overall transport sector globally.

With significant focus on Return on Investments and with new government regulations in place, organisations in the commercial transport sector are already working to reduce delivery costs, the number of vehicles on the road, miles driven, and vehicle-related emissions. Recent industry reports indicate that with a billion more people projected to be living in cities by 2030, and with online and other commerce growing faster than ever, freight volumes are projected to grow 40% by 2050 resulting in significant increase in commercial vehicles on roads. Accommodating them will be essential to ensuring the quality of the future urban life, and this implies an increasing usage of smart, connected, sustainable and intelligent vehicles and fleet management solutions in the commercial transport sector.

Exploring possibilities and opportunities around this aspect, Messe Frankfurt Middle East is delighted to launch the Smart Commercial Vehicles Middle East Conference, which will be held on 2 - 3 May 2018 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, alongside Automechanika Dubai exhibition.

This conference will be a unique platform to bring together government institutions, key industry players, industry experts, consultants and solution providers, who are actively working towards realising a smart and sustainable future for the commercial transport sector.
